Quality Manager
Salary : $100,000 – $108,000 annually (potential for negotiation based on experience)
Overview :
The Quality Manager is a proactive leader and problem solver responsible for overseeing the organization’s quality management system to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products. This position requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and develop a team of Quality Inspectors responsible for inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, final assembly, and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain less than 1% cost of poor quality by analyzing data from material reviews and returns, identifying trends, and driving root-cause problem-solving initiatives.
- Champion continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality, process reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and implement inspection standards, operating procedures, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate daily with the production team to align inspection priorities with manufacturing schedules and ensure resource efficiency.
- Manage product certification programs, coordinate testing, and support audits with certification agencies.
- Mentor and develop quality team members through effective coaching, training, and performance management.
- Support safety initiatives and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.3–5 years of experience in a mid- to high-volume, low-mix manufacturing or assembly environment.Proven knowledge of quality standards, manufacturing processes, and ISO systems.Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to drive results through others.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in Excel tools such as Fishbone analysis and Pareto charts.Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.Familiarity with OSHA regulations; experience with Sage 300 is a plus.High attention to detail, precision, and a strong commitment to product quality.Additional Details :
100% on-site role.Typical schedule : Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 a.m.–3 : 00 p.m. or 7 : 00 a.m.–4 : 00 p.m.Collaborative, hands-on environment with close partnership between Quality and Production teams.Annual performance bonus eligibility
