Project Manager - New Antenna Range

Raytheon Engineer Position

The RF Products Team at Raytheon is seeking a talented Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ. The candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation team of a large antenna range / chamber for Raytheon. The selected candidate will be expected to manage the antenna range project from concept through build and implementation. In addition, the candidate will coordinate the work of the chamber design and build with the team in charge of the building construction, along with overseeing the work of the chamber & test equipment suppliers. The candidate will be responsible for tracking and meeting the cost and schedule constraints for the project.

What You Will Do :

• Manage a large antenna range design project with a budget of $50M+
• Coordinate activities between the project manager of the building construction team, Facilities, the sponsoring program and its customer, and the suppliers of the antenna chambers and test equipment
• Lead the work of an interdisciplinary engineering team including electrical, RF, mechanical, systems, etc. to define, analyze, simulate, implement, and evaluate requirements for ranges and / or chambers, including relevant test equipment
• Manage chamber / range equipment and service suppliers

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
