Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Opportunities

Full-time : 36 hours per week

Night Shift : 7 : 00pm-7 : 30am

Sign-On Bonus Eligible

$2,000 - No Contract!

About Behavioral Health :

Mercy Behavioral Health Services provides a structured and therapeutic environment to individuals suffering from psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and chemical dependency. Here at Mercy our dedicated multi-disciplinary team promotes a structured therapeutic program to help those in crisis through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy and relapse prevention.

Qualifications :

Licensure : Personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the state of Missouri and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.

Required Education : Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Physical Requirements / Demands : Stand / Walk most of the time on duty; significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance; push / pull / grip up to 50 pounds.

NOTE : One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position / unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe : - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules- Other unit-specific certifications as required

Preferred Certifications : IV Certification within 1 year of hire
