Overview

Underwriter / Broker or Broker Wholesale Insurance – Irvine / Costa Mesa, CA (multiple postings)

Base pay range : $60,000.00 / yr - $117,000.00 / yr

How You\'ll Make An Impact

  • Assist Underwriter / Broker Senior in servicing and operational management of accounts.
  • Underwrite, service, and manage assigned accounts.
  • Work toward Production and Service goals and be measured on attainment of both.
  • Underwrite individual property and casualty insurance applications to standard or substandard bases in line with guidelines for policy issuance.
  • Determine whether to accept, modify, or decline risks by evaluating property value, location, usage, safety features, and other relevant information.
  • Maintain frequent contact with field teams to gather information to base and defend underwriting decisions.

About You / Qualifications

  • Required : Bachelor\'s degree and 3 years related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred : Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity.
