Position Overview :
Seeking a compassionate and skilled SLPA to join our K-6 educational team. This position will focus on providing essential speech and language support to students across various settings, including general education, resource classes, and a specialized program for students with emotional disabilities. The role is scheduled to begin around March 17 and extend until May 22, but there is potential for an earlier start if needed.
Key Details :
- Caseload : Approximately 50 students (subject to slight variation)
- Grade Levels : Kindergarten through 6th grade, including Head Start
- Work Schedule : 4-day work week, 9-hour days starting at 7 AM
Two weeks during the contract period will include work on a Friday, with flexible scheduling options available for those weeks
Contract Period : From March 17, 2025, to May 22, 2025 (possible early start)Responsibilities :
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services as per student IEPsCoordinate and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student successParticipate in professional development activities, with flexible scheduling to accommodate training and other needsQualifications :
