Overview

Sales Consultant-On Premise CPWSB - North Mississippi (Oxford or Tupelo) for Women of the Vine & Spirits. The Sales Consultant represents Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in the market, engaging in consultative, face-to-face selling to customers to increase sales revenue.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust
  • Discover and identify customer business growth needs
  • Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales
  • Analyze data and insights to increase sales and achieve objectives
  • Pre-plan account visits with agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities in CRM (Proof)
  • Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each account plan
  • Visit accounts regularly, capture visit notes, and document in CRM
  • Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and present them effectively
  • Propose selling solutions and win the sale using consultative skills
  • Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management
  • Manage customer issue resolution and identify additional opportunities to support growth
  • Adapt selling approach to each customer's buying style
  • Stay current with competitor offerings and SGWS positioning
  • Document and maintain account information in CRM
  • Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and supplier events as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze and understand data
  • Ability to leverage SGWS technology to perform duties
  • Ability to build and structure customer presentations and proposals
  • Proficient with mobile devices and online communication
  • Consistently achieve results; take responsibility for actions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor messages to the audience
  • Adaptability and openness to change; innovative mindset
  • Team player; collaborative
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto liability insurance as required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Physical Demands

  • Sitting and typing on computer or mobile device
  • Walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • Driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours
  • Occasional lifting up to 56 lbs
