Duties

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met in a respectful manner.
• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Monitor patient health and behavior, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met according to individual preferences and restrictions.
• Facilitate community engagement and participation in social activities to promote inclusion.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Educate clients about their rights as residents and advocate for their needs.
• Assist with heavy lifting as necessary to support clients in mobility or transportation.
• Provide care for individuals with dementia, employing appropriate techniques for communication and engagement.
