As a Security Professional - Armed Transportation Facility Patrol in Queens, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Carry out armed patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a security-related presence.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations involving passengers, staff, and property in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Provide customer service by communicating professionally with individuals at the location and assisting with site-specific policies and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter potential threats and report any suspicious activity.
  • Complete security-related documentation and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a visible presence.
  • Remain alert to changing conditions and follow all site-specific procedures and instructions from supervisory personnel.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid law enforcement officer license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
