Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Wound Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Position : Wound Care Program Clinical Leader (RN) Shift : Day | 5x8-hour shifts | Monday–Friday (40 hours / week) Summary : The Wound Care Program Clinical Leader provides clinical leadership to enhance the quality and outcomes of wound care services. This role focuses on developing and implementing evidence-based protocols, education, and competency standards for clinicians, ensuring superior patient outcomes and adherence to Select Medical’s safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities : Lead wound care initiatives across hospital programs. Develop and update clinical protocols, product formulary, and education materials. Establish and evaluate clinician competencies in wound management. Collaborate with medical and education departments on training, research, and process improvement. Analyze wound patterns to guide performance improvement and prevent pressure injuries. Maintain education databases and track competency outcomes. Promote patient and employee safety within the 10-Foot Circle of Safety framework.
