The goal of marketing is to raise awareness of what drives sales for the company. The Marketing Coordinator executes the plans and strategies to accomplish that. The marketing coordinator must work with the Marketing Director to stay informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans.
HIGH PAYOFF ACTIVITIES
1. Support Social Media Marketing Coordinator on Social Media Marketing w / Marketing Manager
Capture Content on jobsites with pictures and videos
Edit stories in Canva : use templates that are established but make sure to post what is on calendar. Must have everything prepared a week in advance so the Marketing Director can approve in Loomly. Example : anniversaries, employee recognition. Execute Social media per Work Instructions.
Being at all / most events to take GOOD quality pictures (would be trained on what we are looking for)
Copy writing when needed
Coordinating & Scheduling photoshoots, video shoots with 3 rd party photographer
Stay in the loop with industry-related news and awards, client-related news, as well as trending topics.
Be in the field 1x per week or (4) times a month to ensure all social is relevant and our culture is clearly captured and communicated.
Meet with various departments monthly to gather social media assets
2. Internal Marketing & Support
Coordinating & Executing the Quarterly Newsletter
Facilitate Smartsheet – Marketing Department’s Project Management system for Internal requests
Working with HR to properly capture our K2 culture on social media, hiring needs as well as employee needs
Coordinating Swag for Events with Marketing Management : Management Team Training, Founder’s Day, Leadership Golf, Dinners, Holiday Party, etc.
Look at Marketing email daily and ensure people are being responded too
Coordinate all new hire headshots as needed
Contribute to an on-going library of marketing assets as internal resources for key departments and leadership.
Complete Monthly Luncheon PowerPoint
Update SharePoint Homepage Monthly – K2 Intranet
Keep OptiSigns current – updated monthly
Keep all inventory of marketing material on the excel spreadsheet / keep swag / marketing material organized
Facilitate the K2 Store with Blank Canvas
Support divisions in efforts to brand documents, edit any documents etc.
3. External Marketing & Support
Support BD in client relationship gifts
Update Hallway TV’s and prep for tours
Support BD during tours
Update Project Excel spreadsheet and all historical data
Support efforts around the website being current
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
Highly Collaborative & Creative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organized, multi-tasker, team player, problem solver, results-driven, and quality-focused
Ability to set priorities, take initiative, and work without a lot of supervision with a strong attention to detail
Must be proficient in using email, internet, spreadsheet, and word processing applications : specifically, Canva, Adobe InDesign, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows), CRM knowledge a bonus
Knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
Basic Photography skills required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
BA / BS in related field of study (Marketing, Communications, etc.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to sit or stand at a desk for long hours when working in the office
Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity equipment
Ability to lift 20 pounds as needed in routine activities associated with position
Ability to wear PPE when working / visiting a project location
Ability to work in extreme heat when working / visiting a project location
Ability to move safely over uneven terrain when working / visiting a project location
