Raytheon's Receiver, Exciter, and Back-End Processing (REBEP) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology within Raytheon. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support to production builds, and lifecycle support of Raytheon products.

This position is for a multi-disciplined Senior Hardware Design & Test Engineer. Senior Hardware Design and Test Engineers are total product owners responsible for the design, analysis, and hands-on integration and test of RF components, circuits, and Receiver Exciter subsystems in both a design and production environment. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for continuous improvement. What You Will Do

• Support the technical investigation and resolution of design, build, and test issued identified on Receiver Exciter subsystems, CCAs, and components.
• RF / Microwave circuit and sub-system design, modeling, simulation, and verification.
• Integration and test at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
• Transition to production and technical support to manufacturing and test engineers.
• Support small project or processes improvements within area of responsibility.
• Participate in circuit card and subassembly design updates to resolve obsolescence and producibility issues.
• This role is 100% on-site and will be based in Tewksbury , MA or Marlborough, MA . Travel is to be anticipated between multiple sites including Andover , MA and Woburn , MA .

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
