Dental Assistant

Responsibilities :

Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care

Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow

Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist

Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately

Qualifications :

Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.

Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail

Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus

Requirements :

Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.

Connecticut : certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.

Florida : Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).

Georgia : CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.

Massachusetts : CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.

Michigan : Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.

New Jersey : Proof of X-ray training.

New York : Not applicable.

Ohio : Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)

Texas : CPR Certification, TSBDE : TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
