Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Lima, Ohio (45801) – Ohio nursing jobs

Unit : 6K General MS / Telemetry and Renal (28 beds)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Shift : 12-Hour Nights

Hours per Week : 36

Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025, End : 2 / 2 / 2026)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Ohio or compact state (Registered Nurse license required)

Minimum 2 years of recent clinical RN experience

BLS and ACLS certifications (required for all nursing jobs)

Completion of Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide provided)

Preferred : CAPD experience; experience with Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin drips; advanced respiratory modalities (Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula)

EPIC EHR experience preferred

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

Safely administer medications in accordance with healthcare policies

Monitor and interpret telemetry every 4 hours using EPIC electronic health records

Manage care for patients with multi-system organ failure, trauma, and advanced respiratory needs

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and advocate for patients

Educate and support patients and families, coordinating care throughout the hospital stay

Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions and emergencies

Uphold safety, privacy, and quality improvement standards in all nursing practices
