Production Manager Job Summary

An industry leading company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to help oversee our continued growth. As a Production Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient and effective execution of roofing projects. You will be responsible for managing the production team, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and maintaining high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

    Production Manager Responsibilities

  • Project Management :

    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all roofing projects from inception to completion.

  • Develop project schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Team Leadership :

    • Supervise and lead a team of roofing professionals, including crew members and subcontractors.

  • Foster a positive work environment, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the team adheres to safety protocols and maintains a high standard of workmanship.
  • Quality Control :

    • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of roofing installation and repair.

  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Safety Compliance :

    • Promote and enforce a culture of safety among all team members.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Investigate and report safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Customer Service :

    • Communicate with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Materials and Inventory Management :

    • Manage the procurement of roofing materials and equipment.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed to support production.

    • Production Manager Qualifications

  • Construction management / Roofing experience is required
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Valid drivers license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Positive team-player attitude
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA requirements
  • Proficiency in project management software is a plus

    • Education and Certifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred).
  • Relevant roofing certifications or licenses (if required by state or local regulations).
