Overview
Hospitalist Dayturnist at Sentara Obici, Suffolk, VA. Provide direct inpatient clinical care for adult, non‑surgical patients, lead interdisciplinary teams, manage acute medical problems, and coordinate patient care from admission through discharge—including general adult medicine, internal medicine consults, critical care management, and comorbidity care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient clinical care and manage medical problems of acutely ill, hospitalized, adult, non‑surgical patients.
- Lead the interdisciplinary team to improve efficiency and facilitate continuum of care from admission through discharge.
- Perform general adult medicine and internal medicine consults as requested.
- Manage critical care and patients with comorbidities.
- Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct and act in the best interests of Sentara Medical Group and Sentara Healthcare.
Qualifications & Certifications
Board certification in hospital medicine or related specialty required; board‑eligible physicians considered.Certification must be obtained within four years of eligibility.Valid medical license in Virginia.Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork.Compensation & Bonuses
