Job description

Seasonal Full Time Christmas Position

Schedule / Hours : Multiple shifts are available for this position through December 2025.

This position is responsible for : Supporting the Salvation Army Christmas Program by safely transporting gifts, donations, and kettle workers between locations and the Christmas warehouse.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive Salvation Army vehicles to collect and deliver gifts, stockings, and donations from malls, homes, churches, and agencies to the Christmas warehouse.
  • Transport bell ringers and / or kettles to and from assigned locations; pick up full and deliver empty kettles as needed throughout the day.
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safety and accountability for all items.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out and operate in compliance with Salvation Army and state driving standards.
  • Assist at the Christmas warehouse with janitorial duties, setup, and other seasonal tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull moderate (2550 lbs) and occasionally heavy (50100 lbs) materials.
  • Continuous standing, stooping, climbing, and other physical activity required.
  • Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment with exposure to outdoor temperatures, dust, and noise.
  • Must be able to read and communicate in English and operate commercial equipment safely.

    • Education and Experience : High School diploma or GED. Two years of driving experience.

    Licenses and Certifications : Valid Driver's License. Must be eligible and maintain certification to drive a Salvation Army vehicle.
