Job Summary :
The Director of Training leads the design, development, and implementation of company-wide training strategies for Auto-Chlor System, LLC. This leadership role manages the Learning Management System (LMS), provides training operations across branches, and aligns training initiatives with organizational strategy and operational objectives. The position plays a critical role in driving training effectiveness, supporting branch performance, and ensuring consistency in company standards nationwide.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Strategic Program Development – Designs, develops, and determines the structure, content, and standards for all company training programs, including technical, operational, and compliance-related curriculum.
- Training Operations Management – Oversees the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), aiding in training completion and compliance across all branches.
- Team Leadership – Directly supervises training staff including technical trainers, customer service, and media coordinators; responsible for hiring, performance evaluations, scheduling, and team development.
- Content Creation and Implementation – Authors and develops original training materials, manuals, multimedia, and presentations using specialized internal company knowledge and expertise.
- Budget and Resource Oversight – Partners with executive leadership on training budgets, vendor selection, and resource allocation to support company goals.
- Training Delivery – Leads or delegates the delivery of in-person and virtual training programs, workshops, and product launch support.
- Program Evaluation – Measures training effectiveness, monitors metrics, and drives continuous improvement across all training platforms and delivery methods.
- Regulatory and Standards Alignment – Ensures training content and processes support company policies, operational standards, and applicable industry and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Demonstrated leadership experience in training and development, including program design and execution.Proven ability to make independent decisions on training strategy, program content, and implementation.Strong capability in LMS administration and digital learning tools.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to groups.Excellent organizational, analytical, and strategic planning skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant training software.Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) or similar is preferred.Physical Requirements :
Bending, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. on a moderate basis.Travel required approximately 10% of the time.Company Overview :
