Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice NP in California!

About The Position

We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Oct 27, 2025. This role features day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, providing chronic care services for a panel of patients in a federally qualified health center setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a panel of patients with chronic care needs
  • Provide comprehensive primary care in an FQHC environment
  • Document patient encounters and care plans accurately
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license required for California
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
