Summary / Objective : The Director, Major Gifts, will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, leading efforts to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects and donors. In collaboration with the Vice President, Advancement, the Director will partner with the Senior Manager, Advancement Services, to direct, evaluate, and improve the moves management system for the individual giving team.
The Director will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the work of the Manager, Major Gifts, within their portfolio, including the development of stewardship materials for the advancement team. The Director will collaborate closely with the VP Advancement and staff across the department to create exciting, donor-focused gift proposals that support the museum's film and education programming, exhibitions, accessibility initiatives, and capital needs. This role will also contribute to the development of strategies for museum-wide fundraising programs and events.

Compensation : The expected base salary range for this role is $120,000.00 - $130,000.00. The actual base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
