Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT (Nights)

The individual in this role is accountable for the provision of respiratory therapy and patient care in accordance with the directives of physicians as well as institutional policies and procedures and departmental standards for care and practice.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Conducts therapeutic and diagnostic procedures related to pulmonary and cardiovascular health.
• Assesses patient or resident responses to respiratory therapy and implements necessary corrective measures.
• Provides educational instruction to patients and staff concerning respiratory procedures equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Performs routine maintenance and operational checks on respiratory equipment.
• Maintains accurate records reports and other documentation pertinent to the responsibilities of the role.
