CEI Senior Roadway / Bridge Inspector Jacksonville Florida

Parsons is seeking a Senior Roadway / Bridge Inspector to support Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) work in the Jacksonville, Florida area.

Responsibilities :

• Receive general supervision from the Project Administrator.
• Coordinate and manage the lower-level inspectors and verification testing technicians.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Perform field inspection of contractor's operations to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Perform material sampling and testing.
• Prepare daily reports to document contractor work operations.
• Field measure installed quantities and perform supporting standard mathematical calculations.
• Enter daily reports and material sampling and testing results in web-based databases (PrC and Material Acceptance and Certification [MAC] database).

This position may require frequent and recurring construction inspections, which includes walking, climbing, stooping and bending at various elevations and uneven terrain.
