About the role
The Housing Supervisor oversees technical operations, residents and staff within NSR"s Transitional Living Program. Housing Supervisors are responsible for maintaining the overall safety and security of the residents. They are responsible for providing management, training, and development to Housing Techs. Housing Supervisors are likewise responsible for ensuring that NSR"s housing locations are maintained to the highest standards, providing support to residents, and collaborating with various departments to ensure quality care and compliance with all oversight bodies.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding and Training :
- Review resumes, applications and identify interview candidates.
- Conduct interviews for open positions within the housing department.
- Provide on-shift training and shadowing to ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Operations and Compliance :
Ensure the safety and security of the residence by conducting all inspections (weekly walk-throughs, monthly EOC checklist) and promptly addressing any areas out of compliance.Perform weekly audits of tech checklists to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.Assist with operations of the clinics as needed (intake procedures, life skills group facilitation).Manage locker assignments and maintain the locker spreadsheet for the assigned houses.Ensure compliance with medication management policy and procedure.Manage the bed board, patient groups, resident program, and employment information in Nextgen.Conduct audits of Housing documentation within Nextgen for your assigned Care Team.Manage all storage and compliance of critical compliance documents in SharePoint, such as controlled substance logs, refrigerator logs, HIPAA forms, and evacuations drill forms.Address and resolve technical issues and emergencies at assigned houses.Housing Tech / Live-in Manager Support :
Conduct incremental reviews per policy and complete the associated documentation in Rippling system.Conduct ongoing one-on-one meetings, staff roundings with direct reports to provide feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Document performance concern and provide appropriate documentation as needed.Approve timecards for Housing Techs, manage PTO requests, and ensure all housing shifts are covered.Maintain availability to Housing Techs during business hours.Monitor Housing Tech communication in Outlook and Teams. Upload any new templates, training forms, or codes and addresses.Facilitate weekly housing meetings to distribute information related to policy and procedure change, share audit results, review resident concerns, and provide feedback as needed.Ensure all staff attend weekly housing meetings and meet clinical oversight requirements.Respond promptly to Significant Event reports and navigate investigations as needed, coordinating with the appropriate parties, while notifying appropriate parties of results.Recruit, onboard, and supervise live-in managers.Facilitate live-in manager meetings to provide updates and support.Provide coverage for Housing Tech staffing shortages as needed.Resident Support :
Address resident concerns in a timely and professional manner.Create behavior contracts and Transitional Living Program notices, monitor the delivery of each.Review and approve / deny day pass requests for residents in assigned houses, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.Collect and manage resident fees.Track and ensure compliance with IOP attendance.Assist as needed with residents facing barriers to gaining employment.Meet with all residents to review progress, providing feedback and reiterating policy and procedures.Inter-Departmental
Participate in weekly clinical meetings as a representative for the housing department.Collaborate with Operations and other departments as needed to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.Collaborate with Human Resources regarding onboarding, staff performance concerns, and ongoing staff support.Collaborate with Case Management to improve client care.Effectively communicate with facilities team to ensure concerns are communicated and addressed appropriately.Other :
Operates as part of the on-call calendar for Housing Tech support.Other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements
Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required infrequently.This job may require being outside in extreme weather for limited periods of time.This job may have exposure to bodily fluids : PPE is provided by the company.This type of work involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping from brief to lengthy periods of time.This position may require ascension and descension of one or more flights of stairs throughout the shift.This job will require driving at various times of the day with multiple people in the vehicle.This job may require personnel to work weekends or nights and may be required to cover subordinate shifts.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Minimum High School Diploma or GED.Minimum of 12 months experience working in the field of substance abuse treatment or behavioral health-related field, preference given to supportive / sober housing experience.Must be at least 21 years of age.Valid driver"s license with clean driving record preferred.Complete all required documentation following company policies and state criteria.The pay range for this role is :
