Job Description

An established hospital in Idaho is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage. This inpatient-only role focuses on call coverage with significant exposure to STEMI activations and various interventional cardiology procedures. Ideal candidates will have experience with TEE, balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, and IFR. Key Details

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for the specified periods
  • Conduct 3 consults and 2 procedures per day on average
  • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) for support
  • Perform interventional cardiology procedures, including STEMI activations

    • Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
  • Active ID license or active IMLC
  • Clean malpractice history
  • COVID vaccination required

    • Working Hours

  • 24-hour on-call shifts with varying dates from November through April

    • Skills

  • Proficient in interventional cardiology procedures
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations
  • Excellent diagnostic skills with a focus on cardiovascular conditions
