Position Overview

The Director, Product Management is responsible for leading the product management team and overseeing the development, management, and optimization of the product portfolio. This role involves setting the strategic direction for product development, driving innovation, and ensuring that products meet market needs and deliver exceptional value to customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product management, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully bringing products to market.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement the overall product strategy, aligning with the company’s business objectives and market opportunities.
• Lead and mentor the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
• Set clear goals and objectives for the product management team and monitor progress towards achieving them.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product development and delivery.
• Ensure that product roadmaps are aligned with market demand, business priorities, and resource availability.
• Review market research and competitive analysis to align overall product strategy with trends, opportunities, and threats.
• Review customer feedback, usage data, and other relevant information to inform product decisions.
• Drive innovation by identifying new product opportunities and enhancements to existing products.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and product management methodologies.
• Review product performance data using KPIs and metrics and adjust strategy as needed.
• Prepare and deliver reports on product performance to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous product improvement.
• Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote-friendly culture, and all employee work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range

$153,000.00 - $204,000.00

Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role. Zelis offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401k with employer match, flexible paid time off, holidays, parental leaves, life and disability insurance, and health benefits (medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage).
