  • Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 6 beds\n
  • Patient Ratio : 3 : 1\n
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) : Meditech\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy Blue\n
  • Orientation : Weekly, every Monday\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n

    • \n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required\n
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA required\n
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred\n
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and alternating weekends\n
  • Strong clinical skills in critical care and acute patient management\n
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills\n

    • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adults in a 6-bed ICU setting\n
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment\n
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians\n
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans\n
  • Educate patients and families on ICU care, procedures, and post-discharge instructions\n
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EHR\n
  • Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and Joint Commission standards\n
