SAPF Security Specialist, NAS Lemoore, CA

This position is located at NAS Lemoore, CA and will support the F-35 security operations. Due to the dynamic environment supporting pilot training the incumbent may be required to support either first or second shift operations to include weekends as required. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements or attrition. On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for. Some travel may be required. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret / SCI clearance will be required, in the future. Duties will include, but are not limited to : assist instructors, students and visitors using facilities; operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random entry / exit searches; enforce all Department of the Navy policies, local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and provide assistance with documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security inquiries; provide collateral security support; assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Pilot Training Center (PTC), and additional duties as required / assigned.

Experience working in a Special Access Program. Past appointment as a Special Access Program Personnel Security Official (SPO). Knowledge of F-35 security requirements. Experience working in a military environment as a first line leader or senior enlisted. Ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance as necessary.

Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
