Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Manager to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our transportation systems.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation in Oracle Cloud Transportation Management and a deep understanding of transportation business functions. You will play a key role in optimizing our logistics operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing system-driven solutions that deliver measurable business value.

The Manager will work within a collaborative Supply Chain Business Technology (SCM BT) team to support, maintain, and enhance a diverse application landscape including Oracle Cloud Transportation Management (OTM), Warehouse Management Cloud (WMS), Oracle Fusion Cloud, and other legacy systems.

After-hours / on-call / change activity may be required at times.

Key Job Responsibilities :

• Lead the configuration, deployment, and support of Oracle Cloud Transportation Management (OTM), Fleet Management, Transportation Planning & Execution, Freight Payment, and Logistics Network Modeling.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze transportation processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop system-driven solutions to realize cost savings and improve service levels.
• Serve as a primary resource for gathering new business requirements, designing approved solutions in collaboration with functional analysts, BT consultants, and development teams.
• Support and maintain Oracle OTM and its integrated process with other ERP and legacy systems by enhancing processes, resolving issues, and applying updates to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end-users and ensure adoption of best practices.
• Stay current with Oracle product updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments and projects.
• Active participation in preparing various project documents - Requirement Gathering and Analysis, Solution design, Functional Specifications, Setup Documents, SIT-UAT Test Scripts, Training materials.
• Co-ordinate with Stakeholders and internal team members on administrative processes.
• Developing standards and processes, encouraging (or enforcing where necessary) the use of those standards and processes.
• Leverage Oracle Cloud AI capabilities to enhance transportation planning, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation across the logistics network.

Technical / Functional Skills :

§ Expertise in integration design between OTM, Cloud ERP, Cloud WMS and Legacy applications.

§ Well versed with OTM modules : Order Management, Shipment Management, Contract and Rate Management, Business Process Automation, Configuration and Administration Trade Compliance Management and Trade Management, Fleet Management and Logistics Network and Modelling

§ Familiarity with digital twin modeling, AI / ML-based logistics optimization, and transportation analytics.

§ Exposure to legacy system integration and modernization strategies.

§ Good understanding of data conversion, transformation, and integration capabilities with legacy applications.

§ Strong understanding of integration methodologies with Oracle cloud applications (concepts of REST API's, File based data exchange etc)

§ Understanding of major setups and configurations related to SCM modules.

§ Strong full implementation lifecycle projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing support, data conversions, go-live and post go-live activities.

§ Having strong experience in Support Life Cycle, SLA management and working with Oracle Product and Cloud Infra support group.

§ Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training.

§ Strong understanding of transportation business processes including multimodal shipping, freight settlement, and inbound / outbound logistics.

§ Experience supporting and enhancing Oracle Cloud SCM applications, including WMS and Fusion ERP Cloud.

§ Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud and AI tools for transportation and logistics, including predictive modeling, intelligent recommendations, and automation of routine tasks.

§ Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

§ Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Education and Work History :

§ Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.

§ 7+ years of experience in transportation management, including 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). Have been part of at least 3 full lifecycles of end-to-end OTM Implementations.

§ Experience in consumer-packaged goods (food & beverage preferred) is a plus.

§ Oracle Cloud SCM certifications (OTM, WMS, Fusion) would be an asset.

§ Experience in Oracle AI studio is a plus.
