Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Posting Specialist . The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role focuses on accurately posting payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting the overall AR process.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Accurately post customer payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit cards) to accounts receivable ledgers on a daily basis.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short-pays, and unapplied cash.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.
  • Reconcile AR transactions and assist with month-end close reporting.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding customer accounts and payment activity.

Qualifications :

  • 1+ year of accounts receivable, cash posting, or accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (experience with [insert system, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, QuickBooks] a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and assisting customers.
  • Pay Details : $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
