Required Experience :
Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Certifications : Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level II (CAP or CASP+ CE or CISM or CISSP (or Associate) or GSLC or CCISO or HCISPP)
Demonstratable work experience with one or more of the following : o Pythono Javao .Net C#o PHPo Node.jso HTMLo CSSo JavaScripto Vue.jso ReactExperience with MariaDB, MS SQL, MySQL, or OracleExperience leading small teams and / or mentoring junior developersExperience deploying services in Linux environmentsNginx, Apache Tomcat, and / or IIS experienceExcellent troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSelf-motivated and willing to learn new technologiesGood interpersonal skills
Desired Skills :
Experience with AWS (e.g. EC2, ASG, Lambda, etc.) or Azure cloud environment
Experience with scripting such as PowerShell, Perl, and Python
Experience working in an Agile development environment and Git
