The Roles We Are Seeking:
We are looking to fill several key positions for the upcoming spring 2026 season and are hiring immediately.
- Varsity or JV Assistant Coach
- Middle School Assistant Coach
Note: There is an opportunity for a coach to serve in a dual role for both the Upper School (V/JV) and Middle School programs, as practice times do not conflict.
Who We're Looking For (The Ideal Candidate Profile):
You are a former collegiate or high-level player who understands the demands of competing at a high level, OR you are an experienced coach (even in other girls' sports) who believes that a strong culture is the key to unlocking a team's potential.

- You are excited by the idea of empowering players with Creative Autonomy, teaching them how to think the game, not just what to do.
- You are a mentor who knows how to be both demanding and supportive, holding players to a high standard while fostering a positive, trust-based environment.
- You are a passionate teacher of the game who finds joy in the process of player development.
The Commitment:
The spring season begins February 23rd. The commitment is Monday through Friday, plus game days.
- Upper School (Varsity & JV): Practices are 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
- Middle School: Practices are 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM.
- Additional Commitments: Include game schedules (home and away), weekly coaches' meetings, and select team events.
- Part-Time Availability: While we have a strong preference for coaches who can commit to the full schedule, we are open to discussing part-time (3+ days/week) roles for the right candidate.
Core ResponsibilitiesOn-Field Coaching & Player Development:
- Work directly with your assigned team (Varsity, JV, or Middle School) to teach the fundamental skills and advanced tactics of girls' lacrosse.
- Lead engaging, high-energy drills and competitive games during daily practices.
- Provide clear, constructive, and positive feedback to players to foster skill development and confidence.
Practice & Game Day Execution:
- Collaborate with the Head Coach to plan and implement daily practices that are purposeful, competitive, and fun.
- Assist in all aspects of game day, including warm-ups, sideline management, strategic adjustments, and post-game analysis.
- Be responsible for the management and care of team equipment and facilities.
Mentorship & Culture Building:
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor for our student-athletes, helping them develop leadership skills, resilience, and a strong sense of character.
- Actively contribute to and uphold our program's culture, which is built on a Championship Mindset, Unwavering Grit, and Creative Autonomy.
- Help monitor the academic progress and well-being of our student-athletes in partnership with the Head Coach.
Program & Administrative Duties:
- Attend all required practices, games, and weekly coaches' meetings.
- Ensure all players are cleared for participation and that all team operations adhere to CA and CHSAA rules and regulations.
- Assist with logistical tasks as needed, such as communicating with players, managing team statistics, or supporting team events.
Qualifications:
- A palpable passion for girls' lacrosse and the mentorship of student-athletes.
- Collegiate playing experience is highly preferred.
- Previous coaching experience, particularly in high school girls' athletics, is a significant asset.
- Must be able to pass a background check and complete all required CA and CHSAA certifications upon hiring (including CPR/AED).
