Job Title : Warehouse Associates and Production Associates

Job Description

As a Material Handler you will play a critical role in resolving shipping issues such as mis-shipments, shortages, damage, deliveries, and freight charges. You will handle incoming and outgoing calls regarding shipment of products, coordinate with carriers, customer service, sales, and operations to ensure smooth logistics operations.

As a Production Associate you will : Meet and maintain daily production rates and goals as established and required by the

company. Read and follow standard work instructions. Keep supervisory staff informed of all cell activity including but not limited to

information related to quality, parts supply and safety issues that may occur within the scope of responsibility. Complete all

required cell activities and documentation for assigned work cell as requested by supervisor. Attend all required training. Adhere to safety procedures at all times. Address all quality and safety concerns via the appropriate channels for an assigned cell. Participate in all required continuous improvement activities as required by the business. Keep work station clean, orderly and free of safety hazards at all times. Actively participate in all department projects, tasks and objectives but not limited to continuous improvement activities. Maintain the highest ethical standards. Must be able bto use all required tools in an assigned work area.

Rarely extended overtime during the work week and working weekends may be required to support business needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SMITHFIELD, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00 / hr depending on which job and shift.
