Core Responsibilities
Lead the design and evolution of modern data architecture across cloud, hybrid, and AI-augmented environments.
Establish and enforce data governance standards, lineage frameworks, and data quality controls across all domains.
Define reference architectures for analytics, AI / ML enablement, and agent-driven data workflows.
Partner with engineering and AI practices to ensure scalable data automation, integration, and orchestration patterns.
Evaluate and adopt emerging platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) for client and internal use cases.
Drive data mesh, metadata management, and cataloging initiatives to improve discoverability and reusability.
Mentor and grow a global team of data architects, engineers, and automation specialists.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years in data architecture or data engineering leadership roles within consulting, SaaS, or enterprise environments.
Proven expertise with Snowflake and / or Databricks; strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
Experience designing governed, automated data environments leveraging CI / CD, IaC, and metadata-driven workflows.
Deep knowledge of data governance, security, lineage, master data, and data quality management principles.
Understanding of agent-based systems, AI orchestration, and their impact on modern data pipelines.
Strong familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services (e.g., Glue, Synapse, BigQuery).
Excellent communicator and advisor comfortable with executive stakeholders and technical delivery teams alike.
