Travel Nurse RN - Rehab - $2,272 per week in Herrin, IL

Job Title : Rehabilitation Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Rehabilitation Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift Hours per Shift : 12 hours (7 pm to 7 am) Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Current Registered Nurse license Certifications : Current CPR / BLS Card Must-Have : Stroke certification is a plus but not required Description : This is a night shift position from 7 pm to 7 am in an Inpatient Rehabilitation setting. The unit performs all the same functions as a medical floor, except for Heparin Drips. There is a high neuro population, so experience in this area is beneficial. Weekend work will be required every third weekend, specifically Friday and Saturday nights. Sundays are considered part of the regular work week, with some flexibility available if needed. Responsibilities include assessing patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Providing explanations and instructions to patients or responsible persons is expected. Nurses should demonstrate the ability to use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions. Contributing to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills is a priority. Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care must be met. Participation in continuing education is required. Maintaining complete and accurate medical records is essential.
