The Role
We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our development team in a fully remote position. You'll work on enhancing our multi-tenant SaaS platform, implementing new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability of our systems. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who excels in the Laravel ecosystem and has experience building robust, scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain features for our multi-tenant Return Management System using Laravel
Collaborate with the team to architect scalable solutions for complex business requirements
Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using Livewire and Alpine.js
Implement integrations with third-party services and APIs (Shopify, Amazon, payment processors)
Deploy and manage applications on Laravel Vapor (AWS Lambda)
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Contribute to technical planning and participate in code reviews
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments
Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Laravel and PHP (Laravel 10+ and PHP 8.1+)
Strong understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming principles
Experience with Livewire and Alpine.js for building dynamic interfaces
Proficiency with Tailwind CSS and responsive design
Experience with MySQL and Redis databases
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and service integrations
Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
Understanding of security best practices in web applications
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated with excellent communication skills suited for remote work
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with FilamentPHP admin panel framework
Knowledge of multi-tenant application architecture
Experience with AWS services, especially Lambda and serverless deployments through Laravel Vapor
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon) and their APIs
Experience with real-time features using WebSockets / Pusher
Understanding of queue workers, background processing, and scheduled tasks
Experience with Stripe payment processing
Knowledge of Docker and containerization
Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems
