Health Advocates Network is seeking a Math Teacher to work at a Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a registry position with our company.
Pay Rate : $35 - $40 / hour
Shifts Details :
Monday through Friday 8am-4pm
Job Summary :
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Math Teacher to join our team at Staff Today a division of Health Advocates Network.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping students succeed in the subject.
The Math Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, providing one-on-one support to students, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver comprehensive math lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
- Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Provide individualized support to students who need extra help in math concepts
- Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, and homework assignments
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student performance and progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Teaching certification or license in math
- Previous experience teaching math at the middle or high school level
- Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of curriculum standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in math
