POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Operations & System Support Lead is a key resource for managing and supporting the technology that powers our corporate travel operations. This is not an IT role-it's designed for someone who understands how travel processes work and enjoys solving problems through technology. You'll maintain back-office travel systems, set up client sites, troubleshoot issues, and create automation that improves efficiency. If you've worked as a travel agent or in travel operations and want to move into a more technical, systems-focused role, this is a great fit.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support and manage back-office travel systems (Cornerstone, Deem, Travelport+, Globalware, etc.).
  • Configure client sites and update travel policies in online booking tools.
  • Handle daily data uploads and system integrations between platforms.
  • Troubleshoot system errors and provide quick fixes for agents.
  • Build automation rules and smartbuttons to streamline workflows.
  • Stay current on system updates and release notes.
  • Train new agents and serve as a subject matter expert for travel systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate new tools and enhancements.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCESSFUL

  • Travel Background : Experience as a travel agent or in corporate travel operations helps you understand workflows.
  • Technical Aptitude : Comfortable learning new systems, troubleshooting issues, and understanding basic logic (e.g., JavaScript concepts).
  • Self-Starter : Organized, able to learn independently, and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong Communicator : Can explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
