Description : JOB PURPOSE :
As a Welder, you will be part of a motivated team primarily responsible for fitting and fabricating custom truck bodies according to blueprints.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Specialty welding.Construct and manufacture metals parts and products using various welding techniques.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.Perform quality inspections to ensure welds meet specification and standards.Complete understanding of fixture welding and requirements for set-up & changes needed to complete the task.Ability to fabricate any item required to complete an assigned task.Fitting and fabrication.Use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments to complete tasks.Maintain and repair welders and other large tools used in the fabrication department.Full understanding of what material is being welded and identify what weld process will be suitable for part / material.Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work assignments.Help with general shop cleanup.Other duties as assigned by the manager.Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED equivalentValid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.Experience with hydraulics, vehicle electrical systems, mechanical systems, installation techniques and weldingAbility to efficiently use various power and hand toolsAbility to work with multiple priorities and constant interruptionsExcellent communication skills, both written and oralDetail orientedAbility to read blueprintsAbility to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a Post-offer background check, physical and drug screeningJOB DETAILS :
