Cosmetology Educator

Paul Mitchell the School Modesto is seeking a qualified Cosmetology Learning Leader (Educator) to join our team! Clinic and Classroom Learning Leader Role

Classroom and clinic Learning Leaders plan and facilitate classes from a accredited and approved curriculum specific to Paul Mitchell Schools. The objective is to meet graduation requirements for hands on and theoretical knowledge in a fun and engaging classroom and clinic classroom. Our school plans classes that cater to all multiple intelligences and learning styles.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have successful previous teaching experience and strong leadership skills as well as experience with Paul Mitchell products. He or she must be self-motivated to meet goals, as well as inspire, inspect, and coach team members in all clinic floor systems including up-selling, rebooking, and guest service systems. This position requires experience in positive and effective communication, customer service resolution and teamwork. Must be able to think on their feet and problem solve in a fast paced environment and multi task.

Skills/Competencies Required:

• Experience instructing at a cosmetology school or adequate experience in the industry
• Current Oklahoma state cosmetology license
• Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills
• Skills in supervision, teamwork, documentation, and return on investment
• Solid work history with verifiable references
• Passion for the beauty industry
• Honesty and professionalism
• Knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems is preferred
