Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to work with PreK students (ages 3-5) during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The position is based in New York, NY, and aims to support young learners requiring specialized instruction in an elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of PreK students with special needs.
• Deliver instruction that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth during the ESY period (July 8 August 15).
• Collaborate with related service providers and families to ensure consistency and progress.
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
