As a full-time OB / GYN Laborist physician, you will be part of an established group that collaborates with community health clinics and midwives, ensuring comprehensive support for patients in a busy, high-volume environment. Job Responsibilities : Provide hospital support for OB & GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting Deliver collaborative care alongside a community healthcare partner and midwives Manage approximately 80 deliveries monthly in a supportive, high-volume environment Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor & delivery, OB / GYN triage, and ER calls as needed Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients Perform daily rounding on post-operative and post-partum patients Participate in a collaborative care model enhancing patient safety and community health Work within a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesia, NICU, and midwives No separate doc call expected; full-time dedicated hospitalist role Support and enhance hospital protocols during the launch of 24-hour in-house coverage. Qualifications : Board Certified in OB / GYN IA license or willingness to obtain Eligible for H1B / J1 visa support (for full-time positions) Preferred to have a clean malpractice history License and Certification Requirements : Board Certified in OB / GYN - Required Iowa State License - Required Clean malpractice history - Highly preferred Davenport offers a vibrant community with rich cultural amenities, excellent schools, and safe neighborhoods.
