This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Manager / Lead Tech in the United States .

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based, high-performance microservices and APIs that power advanced content services platforms. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of predictive analytics and machine learning capabilities, enabling organizations to extract actionable insights from their physical and digital information. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will mentor engineers, guide technical strategy, and ensure the quality and performance of software solutions in a distributed, cloud-first environment. You will also engage with infrastructure teams and adopt best practices to ensure high standards of security, scalability, and maintainability.

Accountabilities :

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based microservices and APIs using Java, Python, and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Flask).
  • Develop scalable applications, integrating machine learning components and supporting frontend needs with technologies such as Angular and ReactJS.
  • Implement Docker containerization and deploy applications to cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Define API contracts, enable API-to-API integrations, and maintain service reliability and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, define security considerations, and ensure adherence to design patterns and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams to support agile development processes and deliver production-grade systems.
  • Mentor and guide engineers, leading product feature development and accelerating technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of development experience with OOP, Java, Python, Docker, Linux shell scripting, and SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
  • 3–5 years of cloud experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure, including storage, compute, and Kubernetes services.
  • Strong expertise in developing and deploying scalable AI / ML microservices and API gateways.
  • Proven experience in leading small engineering teams (3–5 engineers) and working in agile scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills with a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Experience in architectural governance, security reviews, and implementing secure SDLC practices.
  • Familiarity with agile tools (JIRA, Rally, TFS, VersionOne) and code repositories (GIT, Artifactory).
  • BS, MS, or MBA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.
