About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience :

Must have a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years.

Prior experience in ICP or ventric is required.

Telemetry experience is preferred.

License :

Must possess a valid nursing license or compact license from the permanent address state.

Certifications :

BLS and ACLS certification are required.

Certification must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Must-Have :

Travelers must pass a telemetry test prior to starting.

Must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.

Description :

Join a team of dedicated nurses providing care in a critical care setting.

The unit specializes in the care of critically ill adult patients with neuro diagnoses.

Examples of diagnoses include stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, surgical resections, and trauma.

Successful candidates will utilize strong critical thinking skills.

Collaboration with a nationally certified team of physicians and interdisciplinary care staff is essential.

This role offers an opportunity to care for patients in an 18-bed critical care unit.

The work schedule will include evening and night shifts with every other weekend and some holidays.

Travelers may be floated to different units based on staffing needs.
