Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Land Manager to oversee the development, management, and strategic utilization of land assets within our organization. Responsibilities

• Oversee land acquisition processes, including negotiations, due diligence, and compliance with legal and environmental regulations.
• Manage relationships with government agencies, community partners, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate land use projects and ensure positive collaborations.
• Supervise a team of staff and contractors involved in land assessment, maintenance, and development activities.
• Develop and monitor budgets for land projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess land conditions, address issues promptly, and ensure adherence to environmental policies.
• Maintain comprehensive records of land transactions, permits, assessments, and project documentation for transparency and accountability.
• Coordinate with social work or behavioral health professionals when projects involve community or vulnerable populations to ensure respectful engagement and support.

Skills

• Strong management skills with experience supervising teams and overseeing complex projects.
• Proven ability in program development from conception through execution, including strategic planning and evaluation.
• Excellent relationship management skills to foster partnerships with government agencies, community organizations, contractors, and internal teams.
• Extensive administrative experience in record keeping, budgeting, reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Skilled in program management techniques to prioritize tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
• Working knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities or other vulnerable populations is a plus.
• Background in social work or behavioral health to understand community needs and support inclusive project planning.
• Competence in budgeting processes to manage financial resources responsibly across multiple initiatives that promote sustainable growth while building strong community relationships!
