As a Technology Specialist II at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $32.00 per hour.

A day in the life of our Technology Specialist s II… it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Technology Specialist II accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.

• Our Technology Specialist s II are responsible for the knowledge of Cisco iOS which includes: viewing and changing interface configurations and deploying pre-defined scripts. Provide first line of support for network relation issues including DNS, DHCP, server hardware, and internet services.

• Troubleshoot software applications including Opera, NEXUS Citrix, Micros, Spasoft, Office Applications, Active Directory, Infotel, Alcatel, and more. Hotel Event support including working with Sales & Catering and their clients for special function request pertaining to technology (internet, wifi, networking, etc).

• Provide first level of support for physical and virtual servers using VMware. Liaison with colleagues and or vendors for escalations and resolution.

• Monitor system health status (switches, servers, applications, MDF/IDF) and taking ownership if issues rise during their day. This will include working closely with Director of IT on the annual hotel IT audit and response to various sections delegated to them. This can include While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, and hear.

• The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

• Antivirus, Windows patching, Alcatel best practices, Guest room entertainment, etc. all to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.

• Sometimes our guests have special requests involving providing unique service to our guests who need technical assistance. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Technology Specialist II

• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Technology Specialist II are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.

• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Technology Specialists II must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.
