Essential Functions :

Direct Patient Care

• Provides supportive, accurate and prompt care to the emergency department patients under the direct supervision of the RN or Provider.
• Undresses patients and secures / labels patient belongings according to department policy
• Assists patient in performing activities of daily living (ADL's) to include feeding, assisting on / off bedpan, commode, to / from BR and assists in the general transport of patients as necessary.
• Performs other duties as in-serviced, including crutch walking, simple dressings, and assisting physician / NP / PA with splint or cast application.
