Senior Tax Analyst

Job Description

The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for managing state and local tax compliance, planning, and reporting. This role requires technical expertise in state tax regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies. This is a hybrid role (3 days a week in office) based out of our Westchester, IL office.

Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Reporting

• Prepare and review, state and local income tax returns and supporting workpapers.
• Ensure accurate and timely regulatory filings and respond to data requests.
• Prepare and reconcile state tax payables and related accounts.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end income tax provisions (ASC 740).
• Support tax audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
• Manage the outsourcing of the real estate and business personal property tax function
