Job Description
This position is professional in nature. This position is required to legally maintain a Commercial Driver’s License. The Truck Driver works Monday through Friday and should be prepared to spend 2-3 nights on the road. The driver will receive directions and at times be responsible for money and paying vendors. Truck drivers must keep all documentation in order and up to date. Drivers will pick up machinery from vendors and deliver machinery to customers. Drivers are responsible to manage each trip with safety and efficiency.
Primary Functions –
Daily inspection of trucks and equipment. Fueling, washing and light maintenance when necessary.
Safely operate machinery, loading and off-loading.
Correctly chain machinery in a safe manner.
Drive to and from locations as designated.
Report issues to the management team as necessary.
Properly document with pictures and paperwork all machines transported.
Communicate with customers and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
Secondary Functions –
Maintain correct driver’s license, submit for drug screening when necessary.
Perform light mechanical duties both on machinery being moved and MGD Trucks.
Communicate directly with customers and vendors to arrange pick up and drop off.
Follow all laws and regulations pertaining to DOT safety.
Make good decisions based on the driver’s personal safety and the reputation of MGD Tractor and Equipment.

This is an outside, all-weather environment. You will work in dry and dusty, wet, cold, hot, muddy, icy and snowy conditions.
You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
You will work on various heights
You will get dirty in this position.
Long durations of walking, standing, getting on and off equipment are expected.
Some bending, stooping, crouching, crawling is necessary as part of this position.
