Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator to join a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to engineered drawings and production specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced with precision forming operations.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to produce parts to specification
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
Perform accurate measurements using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges
Select appropriate tooling and perform tooling changes as required
Make machine adjustments to ensure part quality and dimensional accuracy
Inspect finished parts and document quality results
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with supervisors, programmers, and quality personnel
Qualifications
1–3+ years of CNC press brake experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and understand bend deductions, tolerances, and angles
Experience with CNC controls (Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, or similar preferred)
Strong math skills and ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" or better
Familiarity with steel, aluminum, and other metals
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
Experience with setup and first-article inspection
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Forklift or overhead crane experience (a plus, not required)
