Overview
VRC Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented PLC Programmer / Calibration Technician to join our field operations team. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for programming, calibrating, and maintaining control systems across various oilfield and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE), calibration processes, and reading schematics and wiring diagrams. Key Responsibilities
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE).
- Perform calibration and verification of instruments, transmitters, and control equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Conduct system testing, loop checks, and functional verifications for proper equipment operation.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure accurate installation and system performance.
- Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation.
- Identify and resolve control and instrumentation issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and industry compliance standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC programming and calibration within industrial or oilfield environments.Proficiency with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and GE software systems.Ability to read and understand complex schematics and wiring diagrams.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative field team.Control certifications or related technical credentials are a plus.Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to ask for help when needed.Benefits
