Estimator / Project Manager

Skills and Experience :

This position will be responsible for bidding and organizing, as well as assisting with managing and planning current or future projects for the company. The role will help oversee specific projects to ensure the completion, as well as lead the bidding and procuring process for new work.

Estimator Responsibilities :

• Preparation of Bid Packages / Proposals
• Completion and submitting Bid Packages / Proposal in timely manner
• Reviews and analyzes proposed projects, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, and provide strategies for procuring work.
• Determines needs for estimates regarding additional staff (employee & temp labor), materials, machinery, and other resources.
• Manages bids from subcontractors and vendors
• Reviews plans and specs of proposed projects thoroughly to ensure accurate take offs and estimates or produced
• Complete site visits (when required) of proposed projects
• Creates and manages a well-organized filing system to maintain all estimation related documents
• Subcontractor buyouts
